--> Program Excursions

Thanks to a generous grant awarded by the Thunder Bay Community Foundation, members at both of our after school sites will be enjoying a total of eight excursions in the community.  The funding helps offset transportation and material costs for our excursions.

The first excursion was enjoyed by the boys from our Kingsway-Hyde Park after school site.  This fun sledding event allowed our boys to get offsite and enjoy healthy active play in the great outdoors at Chapples Park!  We also put to good use the zipfy sleds donated last year by The Bookshelf.  Harbour Youth Services is very grateful for the generous support of our community partners!

The second excursion was enjoyed by members from our Vance Chapman after school site.  For this event, we ventured offsite to popular Centennial Park for a perfect afternoon of sledding!

The third excursion was our final sledding event enjoyed by girls from our Kingsway-Hyde Park program.  We were fortunate to hit the hills at Chapples golf course while there was still sufficient snow coverage.  The girls had a wonderful time!
