For the next couple of weeks the members of the Kids Get Active Club will be using different Yoga poses to strengthen and become more aware of what their own bodies are capable of doing. We begin each session with a whole body warm up that involves stretching different areas of our bodies before we begin the different poses. We then slowly work through
5 different poses ensuring that we do not push our own bodies beyond
what we are comfortable doing.
A few of the poses that we have mastered so far are the
"flower", the "butterfly", and the "slide"!
