Members
of “The Get Active” Club at Kingsway Park have been busy
working on their sports skills.
Our objective is to make sure that when they get out on the
field, court or playground, children are confident and
successful and able to participate in sport activities to
stay active.

CHEFS IN TRAINING - KINGSWAY PARK SITE Learning to
cook helps kids to learn about nutrition and healthy eating.
Perhaps, it is the enthusiasm of creating something
themselves, but they will be more likely to eat whatever
they had a hand in making.
This month the cooking groups have begun working on
measuring wet and dry ingredients.

KIDS LOVE YOGA!
Through practicing yoga, children can learn ways to
relax and get control of stress in their lives. A child
worried about a test, for instance, might use the meditation
or breathing techniques of yoga to help calm down and
focus.
